7 Things to Do in Quarantine to Improve Your Life

Being quarantined at home is unlike anything any of us have ever experienced.

Simple pleasures like dinner with friends, movie nights, and events have been replaced by Netflix (AGAIN) and finding ways to make our own fun at home.

Let’s be real. It’s like living the same day over and over on repeat…and it’s getting old!

I know for many, this time has been a struggle, especially adapting in the beginning. But I’ve also been surprised at how resilient people have become and how they’re trying to see the opportunity in this new normal.

When we’re busy or overwhelmed, it’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind and forget about the big picture.

Life sort of happens to us until we wake up one day and realize we’ve been living on autopilot.

How do I know? Because that was me.

I kept putting off my dreams and goals for “someday when I have time,” but came to realize I never had the time.

I never made the time.

Many of us are finding ourselves with more time on our hands these days. We’re not commuting, traveling, going to events, or seeing friends and family – or not as much.

This can be a great time to rest and do less if that’s what you need right now.

It can also be a great time to start working toward some of the goals you’ve been putting off for “someday.”
